Lloyds Banking Group

Lloyds’ Disability Work Experience Programme (DWEP) is designed to offer individuals with a disability or health condition, a structured work placement within the banking group. More than 270 participants benefited from the structured programme which operates throughout the entire banking group.

Lloyds incorporated our feedback on the programme, which made it more accessible to a wider group of individuals. It is designed to offer ‘work readiness’ to people who may not have experience of the workplace. Managers who take placements are encouraged to incorporate employability skills training, so that individuals get the additional benefit of workshops such as CV building, interview techniques and mock interviews during the placement.

Lloyds recognise that the programme raises disability confidence within the group and feedback from the teams was overwhelmingly positive.
