Remploy’s partnership with Tesco goes from strength to strength

We are proud to work in partnership with more than 500 businesses around the UK, providing cost-free recruitment support. Working together with businesses like Tesco makes changing lives through employment possible.

Our Employer Engagement team work with partners, across Wales, to source sustainable employment opportunities for our participants who could be struggling to find work.

Remploy has worked in partnership with Tesco, providing recruitment support in Ystrad Mynach, since 2019 and have helped a number of Remploy participants to gain work experience and employment, through the services Remploy Cymru deliver.

Laura Evans, Remploy Account Manager in Caerphilly, works closely with Tesco. Her expertise and knowledge of the company means that she fully understands their requirements, which makes their recruitment process much easier and faster.

Laura delivers information sessions, when Tesco has job opportunities, to interested participants. This ensures everyone has a full understanding of the company ahead of their work trial. This process is part of our end-to-end recruitment service, available to all our partners. When the placement comes to an end, participants can progress into work by completing a condensed application – which Remploy will support with – and do not undergo the interview or assessment process.
